This pic of a cute little baby waiting for its soldier father to see it for the first time ever has racked up more than 1.5 million likes on Facebook.
The baby is 7 month old Harper Tesar and is pictured holding a poster saying: ‘Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but my name’s Harper and I’m your baby!’ If you follow popular music you will be aware this is a Carly Rae Jepson song.
The father, US Army Specialist Cole Tesar, who was returning from a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan saw his baby for the first time at this moment .
The soldier said he was shocked how quickly it went viral and that it was a special moment for him when he saw his daughter for the first time.
‘It is kind of different because it is my own baby; it is our own blood. It is definitely special, and it is a pretty good feeling,’ he said. At first I thought this was a cruel trick by someone he had had a one night stand with but it actually turns out to be a lovely story that he is over the moon about.
