The video was filmed by the BBC in Scotland and shows a racist attack on a street busker. The Angolan-born singer and street busker, Melo, who is homeless, was chatting to a BBC cameraman in Glasgow city centre when he was approached by a couply of men who had come out of a local club. The proceeded to call him a ‘black b******’.

One of the men then started to start a fight with Melo, who in turn warned them to leave him alone. On a couple of occasions the man swings a punch but misses and stumbles.

One of the men has now been charged with racially – aggravated assault and jailed.
