This is NOT a photo – it’s the worlds most realistic finger painting

The Mona Lisa, The Scream, Starry Night, Water Lillies; they’re all incredible works of Art. They were painted over weeks/months with layers of paint and impressed generations of Art Lovers. A new generation of painting is here, it’s digital (like everything else). It took Kyle Lambert 200 hours to create the masterpiece below with just one finger and his ipad air. On one layer. The time motion video below shows the stages he goes through. It’s ALL real. Just incredible.

Is it a shame that the old techniques of actually using paint to draw will probably die out eventually? One day a childs going to ask their parent what paint it. Is that sad? Or is this a good thing, new technology giving us even more accurate images.
