This guy L.T., or some may refer to him as Big L.T. had been on disability for some time after suffering from a foot injury during a car accident. He has had nothing but struggles ever since just trying to pay his bills.
He was watching the Antiques Roadshow one day at home while relaxing and watched as they featured a Navajo First Phase Weaving Blanket. He had remembered that his family had one that had been passed down through the generations. Seeing how much the blanket was appraised for on the show he decided to take his in for an appraisal to see if his would get the same results.
After verifying whether or not his blanket was in fact an authentic Navajo weaving blanket he decided to take it to an auction. The appraisers told him that they expected a certain amount to come from the blanket but were amazed as that figured was quickly passed up.
