The Wildlife Aid Foundation received a call that a cygnet (baby swan) had found his way into a really bad place by getting stuck in a fence. As Simon from the Wildlife Foundation approached the poor little guy he was faced with a very angry cob (male swan) that was trying to protect the little guy.

Simon attempted to get the baby swan a few times only to be attacked by the cob whom was whacking him with his powerful wings. Simon had dealt with many animals before and simply told the male swan, “Don’t be silly, stop acting like that”. This might have to be one of the most adorable English things we have every heard. What’s next Simon? Offer him a cup of tea?

Being able to get the baby swan unstuck was well worth the few bruises that Simon endured from the big male.
