Worry is a Total Waste of Time

I used to hate it when people would say ‘Just try not to worry’. When you’ve got a problem, worrying is your brains way of working out how to protect you for all the worst case scenarios. It’s a defence mechanism and it goes against nature to say, ‘just don’t worry about it’.  However, if you can manage to keep yourself busy then that is the ONLY way I know of to stop worrying. Instead of worrying spend time making a list of the jobs you need to do and then… do them. Because even though worrying is totally natural, it real is a big waste of our times. The worst case scenarios are the things that come out of the blue that we could never have imagined.
