You Are Stronger Than You Think – Here is Why

Sometimes life can feel hard, very had. Feelings of depression and anxiety can cause people to struggle in all areas of life and people can be left feeling very stressed out and alone.

lPvtrvZ has created these images to help people take small steps (although, they may feel very big at the time) to over come feeling overwhelmed.

The message is that resilience is key! You can’t give up. But you can take a little break. You NEED to take your mind off your problems, you also need to look after yourself, eat (healthily)and sleep (try your best to get some rest). Moga also suggests you ‘pet’ which is well known to be extremely therapeutic. (If you have a pet!).

After you’ve had the break you need, you need to return to your problems, but you need to break each problem down it to small chunks. You don’t have to solve all your problems straight away, you just need to start trying to organise them, deciding which ones to tackle first and how you’re going to do it. Hopefully, you will find that some of the things you were worrying about, weren’t so bad after all!

You can start to cross some things off of your huge ‘to-do list’!

If you find yourself coming across problems that you really don’t feel like you can cope with on your own…

You have to remember that you WILL find someone who can help you. If you can’t rely on the people closest to you. There is support in other places. You can try internet forums, councillors, doctors and even help lines.

I1v7l6u GsqIGrUThis inspiring comic strip has turned out to be very helpful to many people. I hope that sharing it on this site will make a difference to some people who at the moment are feeling very down.
