How to Make Incredible Easter Eggs With Class

When I came across this post on Imgur, I thought it was so awesome that I decided to share it with you guys.

With Easter just around the corner as I write this, we see loads of chocolate eggs all over the shops. These are obviously very tasty but a in my opinion a little boring and plain looking.

This series of photos show how you can take some eggs and using just onion skins and flowers, create masterpieces that will leave your friends and family totally astonished.

First gather together some cut flowers, onion skins, cotton thread and eggs still in their shells.

1

Moisten the egg and flowers with water. They will then stick to the egg as you apply them to your liking .

2

Next take the onion skins (the bigger the better), and moisten them. Then cover the egg in the skins. You can also try red onion if you prefer.

3

After the skins totally cover the egg, take the cotton thread and wrap it all over the egg. The use lots of thread or string and the tighter you can get it, the better the finished result will be.

5

Next put all the eggs and leftover skins in a pot of water and cook for 15 minutes.

6

Take the eggs out of the water and take off the thread and all the flowers, skins and anything else you may use for your design.

7

As a top tip, you can rub the egg with bacon to make it shine.

8

The finished result is totally stunning

You can get imaginative and use all kinds of flowers, leaves and petals.

I hope you find these as utterly beautiful as I do. The best part is that the eggs inside are still edible.
