What Google Knows About You

Everytime we type anything into the most famous search engine in the world, the words we type are recorded and Google store them. They make graphs, they make lists, they make videos and the data they put together in 2013 tells us what the first world is interested in.

The top most ‘googled’ keywords in 2013 are listed below and they show us that we’re interested in other people and getting the news immediately. It also shows us how much we LOVE our gadgets!

If you go to the Google Trends website yourself you can filter results by country, by movies, by holiday destinations, by athletes and tv shows etc… You can even find the top most Googled YouTube videos, number one is unsuprisingly… What does the fox say! You can also watch their heart warming video showing all the highs and lows throughout 2013.

It seems, in this day and age, that the internet, particularly Google can track everything we do, it’s incredible. Hundreded of years ago people would travel for days to a census and now it is recorded somewhere if we want to know the recipe to make flap jacks. Is this a good or bad thing? In my opinion, it’s great!
