For most people, getting a piercing is a big decision and the trip to the parlour can be an anxious one. They may choose to have their ears pierced or in some more extreme cases they may go ahead and have their tongue or nose pierced too. For most people this is enough.

Not in the case of this young man from Germany. He clearly got bored of just having the traditional piercings and decided to go a little further.
As well as his cheek, ears, nose in two places, chest and nipple piercings, he decided he wanted to show off his forked tongue (also cosmetically achieved).
Rather than just sticking his tongue out, he decided to pierce large holes in his cheeks. He says eating can be difficult with big holes in your cheeks but he overcomes it by plugging them like you would a bath tub.
Believe it or not, Joel Miggler, is a German model and says that his body art has not hindered him in finding a girlfriend. He is currently in a happy relationship.
The holes he has in his cheeks are 36mm wide and are formed by stretching the skin over a period of time. They mean that when he closes his mouth and you look from the side, he appears to have an extra mouth.
