If you have ever been to a music festival during the wet or rainy seasons, you will have experienced the sleeping situation. Dirty boggy tents and even worse toilets can put a real dampener on your holiday.
Maybe you should skip the idea of a music festival and try out this instead. The annual International Highline Meeting festival in the Italian Alps in Monte Piana is more of an adventure holiday than a festival. The organisers wanted to make it a little more demanding to get to the final meeting point so they strung up these high lines.
The campers not only had to tight walk rope walk between two mountains to get to the final meeting point, they also had to sleep in hammocks suspended from the tightropes.
The photos you are seeing come courtesy of Vienna-based photographer Sebastian Wahlhuetter who decided to attend the trip.
