Coke Releases New Drink Called Coca-Cola Life

It is not a Photoshop trick, this really is a new Coca Cola drink. It is in fact the first new line to be introduced by the beverage giant in the last 8 years. This new soft drink will have a third less sugar and a third fewer calories as part of UK government and industry efforts to tackle obesity.

The new product had a trial earlier in 2013 in Chile and Argentina. It is now set to launch in the UK. Coca Cola are being pretty guarded about further plans for a global launch.

The new green labelling definitely stands out from the other Coca Cola lines

Coca-Cola Life is sweetened with sugar and stevia leaf extract. A 330ml can will contain 22.1 grams of sugar – 25 per cent of an adult’s guideline daily amount (GDA).

The last release for Coca Cola was Coke Zero back in 2006.
