96-Year Old Husband Authors Song for Wife of 75 Years

What an incredible story. Without any musical background whatsoever, 96-year-old Fred Stobaugh wrote an endearing ballad and submitted it to a songwriting contest at a local music studio. The focus of this love song was the love of his life, his late wife, Lorraine, a woman he met in the 1930’s. What Fred did not expect, or could anyone else, is how the studio responded.

This incredible love story leaves anyone in tears. What started out as an entry to a radio contest turned out to be an experience of a lifetime. Watch this clip to see how this beautiful story unfolds and, moreover, how YOU can be a part!
