9 Ways to Recycle Your Banana Peel

Rarely do we give our banana peel a second thought. Next time, rather than throwing it away in haste, you might consider one of the following apPEELing uses.

#1 Splinter Removal

Tape some of the peel over your splinter. Enzymes assist to dislodge it and heal the wound.

#2 Acne Treatment and Prevention

Treat existing acne and reduce outbreaks by placing a piece of the peel over the acne area. Rubbing the peel on your face in the morning and evenings should produce results after a few days.

#3 Soothe a Rash

Got poison ivy? Rub the banana peel over the area to soothe and cool your skin.

After drying out the peels, grind them up in a blender and feed them to your plants!
